The University for the Creative Arts is an institution that has produced specialist creative arts education to students since Victorian times. The campuses consist of Rochester, Canterbury, Epsom, and Farnham. Previous art schools also included Guildford and Maidstone

The Archives and Special Collections consist of Bob Godfrey animation archive, institutional archives, the archive of Tessa Boffin, LGBT specialist photographer, Working Press book publishers, and Special Collections including the In-house Printed Press books, the Herbert Read book collection, and the Artist Book collection.
